This afternoon, there was an incident in Kendall Square where the Massachusetts State Police were involved in a vehicle stop that resulted in shots fired, but there were no injuries. The State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on the Tobin bridge, but the driver refused to stop and was pursued into Cambridge. The driver fled again across the Longfellow Bridge and abandoned the vehicle, and was subsequently arrested at the Kendall Square T Station. No one was injured in the incident.
